Woodworking has been an individual passion for the last quarter century, and a portion of our fulltime endeavors within Leist Studios, Inc. for the last several years.
We have twenty-five years experience in the woodworking field, with seventeen years experience in the furniture manufacturing industry, with twelve of those years dedicated to product engineering. Prior years were well spent in a custom woodworking shop, as well as a restoration shop in New England, focusing on the conservation of Connecticut River Valley Antiques.
Our furniture is built with homage to our ancestors, honoring commitment to the integrity and strength of traditional construction techniques. Solid indigenous Appalachian hardwoods will be found throughout our furniture. Attention is devoted to woodgrain & figure to promote an aesthetic cohesiveness within each hand-made piece.
